STORY BEHIND THE DESIGN
Surf City OG was created as a tribute to the old Surf City Swing Bridge — a landmark that carried generations of locals, visitors, and beach-bound traffic onto Topsail Island.
Before the high-rise bridge, getting to the island meant waiting for the swing bridge to turn, watching boats pass through, and moving on island time whether you planned to or not. It was inconvenient, iconic, and unforgettable.
Like every Dead Reckoning design, Surf City OG is more than a graphic. It is a reminder that places carry stories, landmarks become part of who we are, and sometimes the old way leaves the strongest mark.
